So, good morning everybody.

So again, I'm replacing Vincent, who is currently not in Germany.

He's presenting his work at some international event.

We'll start with your favorite time of the week, so the small quiz.

There are two questions this week, so you can already copy the link.

If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to start answering the questions.

Okay.

Okay, there seems to be something weird with the first question.

Since...

No, I think the solution is encoded in it, or somehow.

...

I'm trying to see the question.

So which invariance belongs to which moment variation?

So translation invariant, so for translation invariant it's the central moments.

So you remember that central moments are based on the center of gravity.

So if you offset the content or if you offset the data, since you subtract the mean that

will have no impact on the moments, so there are translation invariants.

Then which moment variation is translation on scale invariant?

It's the normalized central moments.

So again, central moments, so it's a translation invariant.

And then you have a normalization so that if you have a difference of scale, it's somehow

erased or it's gone with the normalization.

Then rotation invariant, it's the eigenvalues.

So if you remember how the eigenvalues are computed, it makes sense if you rotate the

data you still get the same eigenvalues but you get different eigenvectors.

And first, not invariant to any of the above, well it's the raw, so the geometric moments.

So these ones are not invariant at all.

Let's go for the second question.

So I think there is no vote.

I have no idea.

Are you able to vote for the second one or not yet?

Okay, so how does it work?

I think that's maybe now you're able to.

They probably can because a lot of the data you get is so quite polynomial that this
